Finally, Blackberry is finding its own niche in mainland China, according to Research in Motion (RIM)—this, after almost a decade of trying.

Through James L. Balsillie, another chief executive of RIM, it was announced through a conference call that Blackberry will soon expand its market by entering China.

Palm should realise they've got clown working in their R&D and marketing department. After the Foleo debacle Palm has been struggling to release relevant devices. Even the latest Centro faces questionable success with its tiny keyboard.

Palm hasn't released the killer device and hasn't developed their OS. Does the future look bleak? Well they posted a loss of just $841,000 for its first fiscal quarter, which ended Aug. 31. Revenue for the quarter grew only 1% to $360.8 million, year-on-year.

Well don't look now but it's looking pretty sexy (if it's for real).

The Palm Centro has hit Sprint's 3G EV-DO CDMA network and will be available for purchase for US$99 after rebates and price plans. The low price is to encourage people with small fingers to buy the device and start emailing. The Centro is an attempt to diversify the Palm line into a more mainstream consumer.
