The Apple iPhone should have its next improved version for next year. With T-Mobile ’s Google phone around, it is to face it best contender in the cell phone market. The G1 would integrate Opera Mini in its systems. It would also have Fusion Voicemail Plus. Both phone features are now available at the Android Market- and the best part of it is that these add-ons can be used by G1 users at no cost.

A lot of mobile software developer wanted their applications to be included in the Android Market but some are still waiting for Google and T-Mobile to introduce a paid distribution for their software. At this time, large companies such as Opera and PhoneFusion don’t mind giving their latest phone applications for free for G1 users.

The Opera Mini 4.2 highlights a number of features that includes bookmarking, page zoom options, and search features on text. Good news to lovers of mobile videos, Opera Mini 4.2 also supports playback of your favorite videos.

PhoneFusion, on the other hand, introduces visual voicemail to G phone users. You can now have an application that would organize your voicemail inbox. Users also get to have a visual list of their messages in one location. Other service features of PhoneFusion voicemail include Caller Id and phonebook.

PhoneFusion voicemail and Opera Mini are actually not exclusive for G phone users. A number of Blackberry handsets also offer visual voicemail as well as mobile phones with Windows Mobile 5 and version 6 that integrates Java applications.
